Pen to Paper: Imaginary Friend Book

Hey everyone!

The book that I was working on is almost done but we need help to cover the costs of printing. Thats where you come in. If you are interested in buying a copy, please help us at kickstarter to get this project started. The book itself will be 160 pages and hard cover. Needless to say, the calibre of art will be amazing! Proceeds will help cover the cost of printing and also the funding for non profit who teach kids how to write inspired and imaginative stories. My Imaginary Friend

 I did these pieces for for an upcoming show and book project for 826LA (non profit organization). The project was started to help fund tutoring for kids to help them write. The show will be in LA in April. A book with all the stories compiled together will be published alongside with the show. Some artists involved are:

2013!

Happy New Years everyone! Hope the holidays have been good to you! Not really into new years resolutions but I hope to post more this year and consistently too. I just got back from Edinburgh, Scotland and what a beautiful country. I met my two sisters over new years weekend and had an amazing time. The landscape is so epic overthere its sometimes overwhelming. Anyway heres some photos of the trip and a little rough sketch to kick start the year.

First 10+ opening reception show

Last Thursday in LA the 'First 10+' show opened. I am totally stoked to have been apart of this show. I feel lucky and honored to be selected to be apart of such an amazing array of artists and art. I would like to thank Gennie Rim for currating the show and asking me to be apart of this. Proceeds will also go towards funding art programs for kids in the downtown area.

There will also be an online shop for prints from the show. More details later to come about that..

First 10+ Art Show

I'm proud to say i'll be participating in the 'First +10 Art Show' in LA next week. Opening reception starts on Sept 13th 6pm @ Robert Reynolds Gallery. I'll have five pieces up there and a portion of the proceeds go towards funding art programs for kids in the downtown area.

i think this is my 1st update this year on this blog. wow..

Gregory Rizzi who is a super talented animator at Bluesky asked me to do some illustrations for his new upcoming live action short film. Hope you like it, and i hope ill update more often too. cheers!
